1.Properties:
The maleic anhydride is a kind of white granule with heavy
irritant odor, also readily sublimates.
Specific gravity(solid):1.48, melting point:52.8¡ãC, boiling
point: 201¡ãC. It is soluble in alcohol, ether, acetone and
slightly soluble in petroleum ether,
carbon tetrachloride. It is soluble in water, forming maleic
acid.
2.Applications:
It is mainly used for the production of unsaturated polyester,
then used in medicine, pesticides, paints, oil additives,
and various additives and fine chemicals.
For this year, a large number of 1.4-butanediol,
tetrahydrofuran, y-propyl, and many small manufacturing
hydrogenated anhydride.
